While we’ve been closed, we have taken guidance from the UK Government, Public Health England and The World Health Organisation on best practices and we’ve been busy updating our systems and procedures so that you can book with confidence
Colson House re-opens on Saturday 4th July. We have implemented new safety and hygiene procedures to maintain the safety of our guests and the owners. By assessing all risks involved we can now still offer you a warm welcome in a safe and comfortable manner.
Check in
All check ins will be carried out in our lovely front garden where we will all be in the fresh air and can maintain social distancing. We will email you a check in form prior to arrival with our current health and safety information and policies and information on social distancing. We will not be able to show you to your room and we do not intend to enter this space during your stay unless absolutely necessary. If you need anything during your stay you can communicate with us remotely and we will be sure to look after you.
Cleaning
At Colson House we have implemented an enhanced cleaning regime
- All public areas and touch points will be regularly cleaned and disinfected throughout the day
- Hand sanitiser is available at the entry point to the property and should be used by everyone entering
- All guest rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between stays
- All our bedding is sent away to a professional laundry and cleaned to the highest standard
